i just downloaded the app but i don't get how to connect it to Windows xp. Also, what am i supposed to download at the sited posted?

Hi, Remoter VNC is a VNC client; as such, you need to run a VNC server on your machine.
Mac OS X comes pre-installed with a VNC server, so if you have a Mac, you're all set.
Linux includes many VNC server options; I recommend TightVNC, but I hear Vino works well too.
Windows doesn't include a VNC Server, but there are a lot of excellent free 3rd party servers you can use. For Windows, I recommend TightVNC 1.x or UltraVNC.
