[Resolved] Remoter doesn't work on my Imac

Postby viasoft » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:52 pm

Hi,

I purchased this app, but it seem not to work on nmy Imac 2010.
It doesn't work in the screensettings 2560 x 1440.
Is that correct and will that be repaired?

Hi,
You should be able to connect to your iMac. You mention the resolution. Are you able to connect when lowering the resolution?
What color depth are you using, if possible use 16BPP, as with a resolution as high as what you're using, it will be slow, but it should work.

I can connect to my Imac.
When I use 1680 x 1050 then I works, but I don't want to change that every time.
Where can I find the place to change color depth?

If it works for a lower resolution, then the problem is lack of memory on your device to render that big a buffer. What device are you using?
A planned update will include server-side scaling support; but for that the VNC server needs to support this.

The original iPhone is very limited RAM memory-wise; that's why you can't connect using your default resolution, which is really high.
