I also dont understand the step "DHCP reservation". In my router i can find "DHCP", but the only thing I can see is that DHCP is on. In DHCP I can also see "Start IP" and "End IP".
Could you please tell me: What IP do I have to connect to via iPhone? Is that my public IP? There are so much IPs, Mac-adresses... I have no plan what to do ^^. Thank you !

Ok, now i know what I have to do in remoter. So now I get a new error when trying to connect to the computer over 3g: "disconnected. VNC connection failed: authentication rejected". EDIT: Wow, it works ! I had wrong settings in "Admin Properties" .
You say i don´t need DynDNS, but I need the dyndns hostname? If I dont have a static IP I always have to look at "whatymyip" again and then use this IP in remoter, correct?

Unfortunately I cant seem to find a recent posts that show how to port-forward using my configuration of an iMac OS 10.6.6 with Airport Extreme (airport utility 5.5.3). Can you provide a simple step-by-step instruction for myself and others similarly situated on how to follow your prior instructions so that we can access our computers using the internet away from home (or 3g). Thanks in advance.
