Remote between Windows and Mac

I apologize if this issue has been brought up before; but, I was wondering if it is possible to use Remoter VNC to have a Windows system remotely access a Mac. (Just two computers. No iPhone, or iPad)

Remoter is only an iOS application, not a Windows or Mac application. To connect to a Mac machine from Windows, you don't need Remoter at all, just use one of the freely available VNC clients online, like TightVNC.
