-Updates to screen restoration to take into account: number of monitors, screen resolution, special RDP resolutions. Window frame and origin stored. Needs "Session - General Advanced Settings - Restore State" enabled.

-Added option for command+q pass-through.
-Option to disable system keys pass through.
-Implemented instant disconnect (no more waiting for stuck disconnects)

Fixes:
-If restore session is not set, then when user closes a window, ask if they want to disconnect only.
-Corrected one case where saving screenshot even if user set to not save.
-Corrected one case where a non-retained image ref was being called via a dispatch loop, potentially causing crashes
-Fixed grid width to account for potential "always visible" vertical scrollbar.
-Use actual menu separator line instead of an empty entry (Mac)
-Fixed problem with password encryption for UTF8 international characters
-Small ui update to make sure German strings fit
-RDP fixes: corrects bugs when closing/opening multiple connections to the same machine
-Fixed fullscreen session restoration (Mac)
-Mac Grid: Moved category selection button to the right of the type selector. Also made it wider, and replaced the "all" title.
-Fix issue causing quick close of session to be started after canceling previous connection

Other:
-Prompt user when switching auto screenshots off if they want to delete the current screenshots.
-Fixed SSH screen disappear-and-then-reappear on connect
-For RDP native fullscreen, on Mac: switch to fullscreen on connect
-Allow right-clicking on thumbnail.
-Allow right-clicking on config button
-Present context menu at mouse location.

What's new since 1.2.0:
-Fix initial RF checkbox state in Session Editor. Also moved the session selector dropdown to a more sensible location
-Display message to help new users figure out how to add new sessions
-Added support for some special keys only found in Windows Keyboards: printscreen key, scrolllock key, pause/break key, insert key (this for RDP Direct keyboard mode in Remoter Config)
-Update to Auto-Reconnect, to prevent reconnect-loops: Now only reconnect if connected for at least 30 seconds
-Fix for cases where the RDP connection was not being closed correctly
-New blue icon (to be consistent with Remoter Pro for iOS). Also, the icon is now retina resolution

what is with the update for App Store customers?

Can i change the AppStore licence to the "remoterlabs website" licence?

I dont want to wait so long for an update over the app store.

I guess it ain't his fault and is just a rare situation. Apple is very busy right now accepting app updates for iOS6 and Mountain Lion 10.8.2 causing a delay for all developers. It shouldn't be that long anymore. Likely tommorow or Monday. You can use the beta version (that serves the same functions) in the meantime.

Yes, please do use the beta in the mean time. Remoter for the App Store was submitted around 16 days ago, and it's still in the queue. They haven't even started reviewing it yet! This is the longest it's ever taken.

Good news: Apple finally reviewed Remoter 1.2.0 today.
Bad news: They rejected it, based on some entitlements (sandboxing functionality) that Remoter will use in the future, but that it's not using right now.

What does this mean:
I argued to them that Remoter will eventually use this functionality. If they agree, they might approve within a short while. If they don't, I will have to resubmit a binary, which means Remoter will be back at the beginning of the queue, and won't be reviewed for another month...

Let's just hope they agree.. Just in case, I'll recompile with the unused entitlements removed and be ready.

Well, Remoter 1.2.0 was re-submitted to Apple. Along with the updates to the entitlements, these updates also made it:

New:
- Increased max cursor size from 32x32 to 128x128 for VNC.
- Added option to ignore cursor shape updates.
- Mac: Added Remoter Config option to hide the menubar completely when in fullscreen mode.
- Updated Dropbox library
- Implemented Mac terminal scroller (scroll bar for SSH, Telnet)
- Enable ssh tcp keep alive and ping interval for over-ssh connections, to keep the tunnel active.
- Added "click here to add first session" message (Display click here to add your first session message (image) when no sessions are defined)
- Added support for Windows keyboards: -PrintScreen key, -ScrollLock key, -Pause/Break key, -Insert key to RDP Keyboard mode (in Remoter Config)
- AutoReconnect now requires connection to have been up for at least 30 seconds. This prevents quick-reconnect-loop.

Fixes:
- Fix in cloud sync manager where the "+" button will attempt to backup (and would stay stuck forever) if pressed and the account was not linked.
- For Mac's terminal sessions, use direct keyboard mapping, so that international keyboards work correctly
- Fix for cases where RDP connection was not being closed correctly

Hi!,
What do you mean exactly. I've just personally tested the posted 1.2.0 from the app store connecting to an RDP machine (windows 7) and it connected and looks correctly.
Can you help me recreate the problem? What resolution / color depth are you using for the RDP session? Any other special settings that may cause this issue?
