I've been successful in getting Remoter VNC on my iPad to connect to my Macbook via my wifi network. I can't access my Macbook from the internet so I found your instructions for going to dyn.com to register but there is no "free checkout". You have to give your credit card number for the 14 day free trial that they offer. Your instructions are outdated and need to be updated. I am not able to access my Macbook from the internet which is why I purchased the Remoter VNC. Is there some other way?

I didn't realize dyndns didn't offer a free account anymore. I myself still have a free account that I use for some things successfully constantly.

"DynDns is still free, they just made it more complicated. In order to keep a free account, you have to log in once a month. You also now have to initiate a free trial of DynDns Pro, but you can cancel it and they still allow 1 free hostname indefinitely, again, as long as you log in once a month."

There are some alternatives like no-ip.com.

And you can always purchase the "RemoterFusion" add-on and use our service, which you can try for free for 24hours to make sure it works for you (http://remoterfusion.remoterlabs.com)
