RemoterFusion seems to access a server that doesn't immediately imply affiliation with remoterlabs.com:

/Applications/RemoterFusion.app/Contents/MacOS/RemoterFusion

Should I worry about that or is this the intended behaviour?

RemoterFusion connects to this URL to get the machine's (network) IP address:
http://highearthorbit.com/service/myip.php

This is a public URL to find the IP address openly used by many software applications:
try searching google for: "highearthorbit.com/service/myip.php"

So, nothing to worry about.
