URL's & VNC:// URL

I am considering purchasing Remoter for Mac OS X.

I currently use 'open vnc://username@systemname' from a terminal, to start Apple's built-in Remote Viewer for Screen Sharing or VNC.

I see that Remoter uses the same URL (from this page: http://remoterlabs.com/rafsoftware/home/remoter-url-handling/).

Does Remoter take over the "vnc://" URL? If so, how can I control or switch it back to the built-in one if I want to?

No, on the Mac, Remoter only takes over remoter-vnc:// not vnc://
On iOS, Remoter uses both (either or).
