VNC from Mac to Linux box

I just set up vnc from virtual machine Ubuntu 11.04 (virtual box on MacBook pro) using something called Remote Desktop.
So far I have not replicated this problem, and will keep it running a while to see if anything happens.

I'm downloading the linuxmint-9-gnome-oem-i386.iso file.

As a side now, I have a connection to a Ubuntu Linux 10.11 that's bee going for over 3 hours, and it's still working fine. This particular version uses tightVNC (started manually using vncserver :1). I've opened gnome-terminals, firefox and chrome.

I'll try in Mint as soon as possible.

Keyboard stopped working while on a session using xterm as only application. No keystrokes showed up, and most were interpreted as 'enter' key.
This is after upgrading OS X to 10.7.3 from l10.7.2. As noted in a previous post, the connection speed has also slowed to a snail's pace even while on internal network.

I have experienced no slowdown in 10.7.3 in my tests.
I haven't had a chance to test mint yet. I did download it, but I'm preparing to release a new version of the iOS client this week.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'm canceling the issue with 10.7.3 since I believe 10.7.3 interfered with my wireless setup.
I'll look forward to new release.
