Connection Refused

Postby Las_Vegas_Guy » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:14 pm

Hi

Just bought this app today, and I can connect thru my iPad 2 to my Mac while I am in the house Using the Wi-Fi. :)

However, when I installed the RemoteFusion app on my mac, and choose port mapping method " router". It says "Initialized Successfully", but shows the Connectivity Test as "Connection Failed". :cry:

Here is the Debug log:

Loading Settings
ComputerName='Tardis'
Get IP From Router='Yes'
Manual Port Mapping Index='0'
Port Mapping Mode Router Based
ConnectivityTest Message 0: 'Trying 71.2.79.235:15910...'
ConnectivityTest: runTest. ip=71.2.79.235 port=15910 initial connection error='No error'
ConnectivityTest Message 1: 'Connection refused'
sendUpdateMessage Successful
Router(ZyXEL P-660HW-D1 v2 Internet Sharing Gateway) Reports External IP as 71.2.79.235.
Mapped port: 71.2.79.235:15910 -> 192.168.2.10:5900
Mapped port: 71.2.79.235:15900 -> 192.168.2.10:15900
sendUpdateMessage Successful
ConnectivityTest Message 2: 'Trying 71.2.79.235:15910...'
ConnectivityTest: runTest. ip=71.2.79.235 port=15910 initial connection error='No error'
ConnectivityTest Message 3: 'Connection refused'

"Screen Sharing is ON"

Any Help would be Gratefully accepted.......

Hi Las_Vegas_Guy,

For some reason your router is not allowing the connection using the port mapping from within your LAN, BUT!, the port is mapped correctly (I just validated it), so you should be able to connect from outside of your network (3g or another wifi network).
You can then create a separate session in Remoter for connecting from within your network.

Not sure why your router is doing that, though.
