Prompt for password

Postby iwantlinuxsupport » Sat Nov 26, 2011 1:17 pm

I don't want to cache passwords for my ssh & vnc sessions. Is there a way for me to set everything else up (except for the password) so that I only enter the password when I actually connect.
I really don't like the idea of leaving all my accounts effectively unprotected by having the passwords cached.

Yes!,

Simply leave the password empty, then tap on "Advanced" in the session editor, and scroll down to "Request SSH Password" (or Request VNC Password, depending on the connection type. Note that RDP password request is broken in 3.2, and will be fixed in 3.2.1).

Hope this helps!,
Raf.
