Can't paste to SSH session

Postby bradkarhu » Thu Sep 15, 2011 2:13 pm

iPhone 4.3.3
Remoter 3.0.1 w/SSH addon
Connecting over 3G

- Copied a bunch of JavaScript from an email in the Mail app
- Started a new SSH session to a linux web server
- Used nano to start editing a file
- Clicking 'Direct Paste' gives the error 'No Usable Information in the Pasteboard

I also tried with just a short word throwing it on the server's command line, still no go.

Is there a way to see what is in the iPhone copy/paste bin to make sure it has something in there?

This happens if the data in the pasteboard is not purely textual. You can try pasting it into an email or into notes. Make sure you select only the text, and Remoter will be able to see that.

Hope this helps,

Raf.

Thanks, that fixed it. Now I just need to get on a faster connection to paste that much code quicker.
