Postby maruSeru » Sat May 14, 2011 11:30 am

Sorry, this seems so basic and yet i can't find info on it anywhere...

Can i drag items remotely? How do i do that?

Example: drag an icon across the screen, etc.,

Thank you

Yes you can!
On the iPad:
-Tap the Drag button (finger button on the bottom toolbar)
-Drag / Draw / Resize -- perform any operation that you usually do on the computer while holding down the left-mouse button
-Tap the Drag button again to end

On the iPhone:
There is no Drag button (for lack of space). So dragging is instead initiated just how you do it on a trackpad:
-Bring up the Virtual TrackPad (the rectagle with a finger on it)
-Double tap and hold to initiate the dragging. Release to end the dragging

I'm using the PC Program Yamaha Studio Manager. I cannot get dragging to work using the above directions. If I hold the second tap, it is not recognized as a tap. If I hold after the second tap, nothing happens.

Can you use "tap tap-and hold" to drag other items outside of that program? I'm just wondering if somehow there is an incompatibility with Yamaha Studio Manager.

Thanks,
