I haven't been able to horizontally scroll as of late, and I'm not sure if I've ever been able to do it. Are there any settings to enable this, or is it not yet supported by Remoter VNC?
Are there any easy alternatives to two-finger side-scrolling? Manually clicking is a bit inconvenient on a touch screen, especially now that Lion and up has done away with the scroll arrows.

You're talking about scrolling inside a view (like a webpage), not scrolling the whole screen, correct?
Remoter only supports vertical scrolling using two fingers or the vertical scroll bar.
I'll look into adding horizontal scrolling using two-fingers for the next version:
