Endless "Connecting" Msg on iPad and 'Circle of Death'

System Configuration: I am running OS X Lion v. 10.7.4 on my late 2009 iMac. I am running Remoter Fusion 0.9.7 on my iMac, and Remoter VNC Version 3.6.3 on my iPad 2.
Problem: When selecting my iMac for remote access on the iPad, I get the message "Connecting" with the circle indicating it is making an attempt to connect, but it never actually completes the connection. Was running fine before with no difficulty.
Can anyone help here?
