characters error when connecting Mac with Mountain Lion

Hi,

I use Remoter VNC 3.6.3 on an iPad2 with iOS 5.1.1
My Mac and iPad are in French and I use French Mode in keyboard setting

When I connect my Mac on Mountain Lion (VNC/Screen Sharing) some keys are not working properly.
Impossible to type a "0" it displays "à" instead. (On a french keyboard those characters shared the same key).

But if I try to connect another Mac still on Snow Leopard, no problem to type a "0"

Any idea?

Please try using the French_Alt mapping. There's more info about this problem in the forums, too.

Raf.

Hi,
unfortunately, I do not have the French_Alt keyboard mapping available in the app. (is something wrong with the app? According to iTunes it is uptodate)

As a workaround I have copied the 20French.rlk file from iTunes, renamed it and change the line for the 0 character and then upload it to the iPad. It works, but as others characters have some issues, where can I found the "official" French_Alt.rlk file?

Hi,

It is almost perfect with the new file you have provided. Only 3 characters are not working:

thank you.
