Extrernal Monitor Blank Screen

I've just installed Remoter VNC on an iPad1 running iOS 5.1.1. Connections to OSX server VNC sessions work fine on the iPad. However, when I connect an external monitor via an Apple VGA adaptor I just see a blank screen.

Cirtix receiver and the Wyse client work ok. Is there some setting I have to adjust to get the external monitor to work?

Two questions:
1-Are you using RemoterFusion?
2-What version of OSX are you running?

Thanks!,
Raf.
(PS: Sorry for the delay to respond! The move is over finally)

Hi,

I'm connecting to OSX server 10.7.4. I'm not using remoter fusion.

Regards
Peter

Apple made some changes to the multi-monitor offsets in 10.7.4 that break RemoterFusion's multi-monitor handling for some screen positions/layouts.
For your case, it should work. Could you try modifying the screen positions/layouts? Make the other screen the primary, and/or make sure the primary screen is the one on the left? This might help the OSX internal VNC server send the correct framebuffer information.

Please let me know if this helps,
Raf.
