Right click problem on 10.7.3

The good news: 10.7.3 did fix my previous dual screen issue.
The bad news: now right clicking doesn't work correctly. Here's what happens for me....
Open session to 10.7.3 system.
Hit the mouse click right button
Tap on file on desktop, expecting right click menu.
System acts like I did the mission control gesture

On my 10.4.11 system right click still works ok. I do not know if right click worked right on my system when it was running 10.7.2 since I had the dual monitor problem. when it was running 10.6.8 it worked properly.

I'm updating to 10.7.3 today. So I'll have a definite answer in a bit.

But you can try the "VNC alt mouse buttons" setting in the session. Apply might have moved to late-SL's mouse clicking model.

Alternatively, you will have to "control+click" until a solution is found.

Thanks for reporting!,

Raf.

Hi again,

I'm my tests just now, right-clicking is working ok. Please try rebooting your Mac and/or your Phone, something must be in a strange state.

Please let me know,

Raf.

Problem solved: I had previously had the "vnc alt mouse buttons" set to on. This worked great with snow leopard but not so much with lion. I set it to "auto" and all is working again. Thanks for your quick responses. One of the many minor issues upgrading to lion.

On a completely separate note, I am really enjoying having the ssh and telnet app add ons. It makes managing the various systems I work with a breeze on my iPad (and iPhone.) Thanks for adding them in. It is great to have all my systems controlled by one app now. :D

OK, great. Thanks for letting me know! That setting is indeed only intended for SL.

Thanks!,
Raf.
