Is screen a one way street?

Postby rpoland » Mon Jan 09, 2012 10:12 am

By that I mean, moving the cursor on the iPad 2 moves it on the iMac. But moving the cursor on the iMac has no effect on the cursor position on the iPad 2.
Is this normal?

This depends on two things
1- support from the VNC server: the Mac VNC server doesn't appear to send pointer coordinates
2- support from the VNC client: you need to enable this in Remoter's config. It's called "Remote Pointer Updates".

In other words, at the present it doesn't work on a Mac.

Correct. But not by lack of support by Remoter. There might be some hidden/secret setting to get this to work with the Mac VNC server, but I'm not aware of one.
