Unable to connect to RDP with "Disconnected" message

Hi there, I am currently unable to connect to my PC using RDP. I have tried a couple of other RDP clients an they connect without issue.

The message I get when trying to connect is: Disconnected. Connection Lost. Do you want to reconnect? (which comes up pretty quickly)

The only thing I think might be tripping it up is that I connect to RDP on a non-standard port. Now, there isn't a port entry field so I have been trying to add it by adding :portnumber on the end of the host URL. Perhaps you don't support non-standard ports though?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi iflo,

There is a port entry box. But you need to press the "Advanced" button at the top of the session editor.
The box is called "RDP Port".

Let me know if this helps!

Raf.

Yes! The advanced button and filling in the port below has indeed fixed it. Thank you so much. Feel free to reply with the word NOOB!

In my defense I had clicked the advanced button and seen it go blue but as nothing else had appeared to happen I hadn't bothered scrolling down :) and just unclicked it again.

Anyway, thanks very much for the quick response.

iflo,

You're not the first one to miss it, so I'm going to update the FAQ to mention this explicitly. I can probably also enhance the Advanced button, so that when the user taps on it, the view scrolls automatically to the advanced section.

Thanks for letting me know it's working for you now, btw!
