Telnet characters write over each other

I set remote vnc to run telnet session to a lantronix uds 1100 . Works great connected immediately. Issue is when it returns the info it continually writes over itself. If I continue to tap the return key I get most data on new lines. If I telnet through hyper terminal everything returns fine. I have tried to change window size from auto to others. Same result. Most importantly I'm doing this on an ipad2.

Any help would be great.

Hmm, I'm not familiar with that specific machine. But the problem seems like the server thinking the screen size is incorrect. You might be able to correct this by telling the server the characteristics of the terminal. Try changing the TERM variable.
