I am having a similar issue with OS X 10.7 on a power Mac dual core 3.0 ghz with two video cards and two 19" monitors. I have no issues with single monitors bit can't click anything with the dual set-up. Is there a hidden setting in VNC 3.2 to fix this?

Thanks for the help. I would rather not move my menu bar on the computer as it would change my regular work flow.

Actually, I've added some extra support to Remoter 3.2. But changes now need to be incorporated into RemoterFusion. I'll keep you updated.
Thanks!,
Raf.

OK, I've now made the required changes in RemoterFusion (not released yet) to support multiple monitors in Lion with Remoter 3.2.1 (under review). Unfortunately, I had to make some changes to Remoter, so this won't work with 3.2. But it will all now work in 3.2.1.

I am able to connect to a MacMini with external monitor but tapping doesn't work. The cursor moves to the tap location but the equivalent click is not transmitted to the remote computer.

Do you get replies from Customer support people on this board?

Hi dsotirescu,
I'm a "customer support person" :)

Are you running RemoterFusion in your MacMini; make sure you're using version 0.9.1 as well.? Also, make sure the session in Remoter is set up as a "Remoter Fusion" session.

I've heard rumor that the vnc dual screen with extra screen on the left is fixed in 10.7.3. Hey raf, do you have access to the beta for that and is it true. My secondary screen is on the left too :( and not easily switched.

I do have access to the beta. But I haven't tried it. I'll install it on my air just to test this. Where did you hear this rumor?

I just recently updated to Lion, so the dual monitor problem just showed up. When I found that it was an OSX bug, I googled it. In the search results of another vnc viewer (not iOS) I found a discussion leading to the developer saying it was fixed (to his delight) in 10.7.3. I unfortunately did not notice where that was, but have been waiting for 10.7.3 to show up for updates.

I've been thinking about just getting the fusion option to get your workaround, but since I use other vnc clients on macs and pc's to access my macs, pcs, and linux boxes, I just want to use vanilla vnc.

If I can find where I saw the report of it working, I'll let you know.

Oh, and by the way, Remoter was great even in the first versions, but is even better now. I love many of the new features, the WOL button is a great addition.
