Does the xterm emulation in the telnet client support the VT-100 line drawing characters? I'm using remoter and putty to access a legacy telnet based app. In putty the line drawing characters are displayed properly. But in remoter I get various other characters, but not the correct line draw chars. This is probably a font issue.

Remoter uses putty as the SSH engine!. The reason you don't see the line drawing characters is because of the font used by Remoter (a system font). You're the first user to request support for line-drawing characters, I'll add your request to trac.
