Remoter crashes when connecting to *.lan

Hi - I'm using ".lan" as my local domain and noticed that Remoter on my iPhone always crashes when trying to connect to a VNC over SSH client that has its SSH Hostname defined as mycomputer.lan. If I change the name in Remoter to mycomputer.local it connects. But as soon as I change it back to mycomputer.lan it crashes.

I'm using Remoter v4.8.03 on an iPhone 5s running iOS 9.3.1.
I tried connecting to my iMac running 10.11.4.
