Hello!

hope you are doing very well.

i am a new ipad2 owner, and fell upon your remote software first! i then explored some other ones... trying to compare. installing the other applications seems to have messed up the great thing i had going with your software - i uninstalled those other versions (wyse pocket cloud, and splashstop).

ever since having those other applications on my xp machine, it doesn't work right

i uninstalled and then reinstalled ultra VNC, but no avail

i've noticed that i get the following screen popup when i hit 'apply' in admin properties of vnc server (attached).

i have no idea what is going on, it was working fantastically.

thanks in advance for your help -

again: windows XP
ultra vnc (latest stable version)
remoter on ipad2

Hi MaruSeru, (is that like Marcel in Japanese? :) )

Make sure you're using UltraVNC 1.0.8.2 . This is the version that works best with Remoter at the moment.

Regarding the popup you're getting, I'm not sure why that is. But if you're applying changes to UltraVNC, you might need to authorize the changes using your "Administrator" account, rather than your user account.
Other than that, make sure you uninstalled all the other software you installed by using the supplied uninstallers, Windows uninstaller. Not just delete them manually. Also, after uninstalling everything (including UltraVNC), it wouln't hurt to reboot the machine before installing the correct version of UltraVNC.

If all else fails, try the UltraVNC forums. (http://forum.ultravnc.info/)

Let me know what happens,

raf.
