My VPN is configured and working correctly, but ssh connections to solaris hosts are timing out. The ssh daemon is running on the default port 22.

The VPN works transparent to any applications running on the machine, so it should work. Make sure the IP address/hostname you use is the internal for the VPN network.
We have several users that successfully use Remoter across a VPN with no issues; maybe they can help more.

How to make voip calls on a Symbian 9 S60 V3 Nokia phone using a vpn on a broadband connection? I have a Symbian 9 S60 V3 Nokia N82 phone and also a vpn connection on a broadband of 1 MBPS. Can you suggest any available mobile software, which I can download/buy to install on the phone and make VOIP calls?

I believe you're in the wrong forum. This forum is for customers of Remoter VNC (an iOS app)
