How to freeze Ipad 2 screen

I've got the software installed on my Ipad 2 and can remote into my office's Windows 7 and things seem to be working ok. But how do I "freeze" the ipad's screen so that when I move my finger around the whole screen doesn't move too? Thanks

You don't need to move your finger around. Try the Virtual Trackpad (rectangle with a finger icon) to try to control the mouse pointer. Otherwise, you just need to tap where you want to click. If you need to drag, try using the drag icon (finger).
