Ipad

I am unable to remotely connect my ipad to our office server. I have typed in the name, IP address and password and a window opens up saying "disconnected"
read (54: Connection reset by peer).
Can you help?

Is your office computer connected directly to the internet, or via a router/gateway? If it is not connected directly, then you need to have your IT department provide you with an IP address you need to use to connect to your computer from the internet, they also need to port forward port 5900 to your computer, so that you can use VNC.
