Hiya,

Just got your app today and it works like a charm just noticed one thing.
The 6 inputs an extra ^ showing up as: 6^.
At first I noticed when i couldn't log in to my machine(Windows 7 Professional laptop) remotely when setting up. I was getting the password incorrect message.
When i was logged in however everything was fine i could navigate, etc. That's when I noticed there was an extra star showing up in the password field.
Stupidly afterwards i opened notepad and was able to identify the extra character.

Tried all keyboard layouts(US on the computer) to no avail. All reproduce the same. Funny thing is... It's only the 6 that has a problem.
Iphone 4 is brand new and fully updated, App is brand new and still default.

Can't think of what kind of information you would like, so just let me know and i'll look it up.

Thanks in advance

That is very strange. I haven't heard or seen this before. I can't recreate it either.
What VNC server are you using on your Windows Box? (name and version, please)

Thank you.

Actually, TightVNC 2.x is NOT recommended. Please try TightVNC 1.x or UltraVNC.

UltraVNC: http://www.uvnc.com/download/1082/1082full.html
TightVNC: http://www.tightvnc.com/download/1.3.10 ... -setup.exe

Ultravnc : no input works whatsoever (No i'm not in viewer mode...) using your URL. Everything left default
TightVNC: V1.3 cannot be run as a system service(Therefor it has no use for me if i cannot unlock my own machine...)

Only working version thusfar: Tightvnc V2.X where we have the 6^ issue...

Did some investigation, and the problem you have with TightVNC 2.0.2 is documented as a problem in tightVNC. See here:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=de ... tid=114067

The developers say version 2.0.3 will correct some of the keyboard handler problems. Maybe then I can start recommending it. Until then, please stick with either TightVNC 1.3.10 or UltraVNC 1.0.8.2.

Thanks.
