How do I connect the server?

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm making a lot of changes for the next version that should help users set up their connections, including a set up wizard, and individual help for each element in the session editor.

Specifically about your problem, could you give me some more info so I can better help you? Like what OS are you connecting to? What VNC server did you install if you're using Windows/Linux? What version of Remoter do you have? What device do you run Remoter on? (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)?
