Arrow keys not working in telnet

I bought the remoter complete package thinking it would be the one stop shop for all my geeky It needs. I am trying to telnet our HP Procurve switches to leverage my iPad for quick VLAN changes but the arrow keys dont seem to work? I searched a bit and found this thread:

But I'm just using the on-screen keyboard and setting direct/US or setting external KB to auto/yes doesn't seem to have an effect, any one else have this problem?

Hi mr_lore,

That thread is for when using an external keyboard. The arrow keys do work, maybe your terminal needs special configuration to accept the arrow keys? Do they work if you connect with another telnet client?
