Apple extensions?

Is there any chance of supporting the username+password login extensions that mac os x has built in?

There's a couple of other VNC apps that support this, presumably they reverse engineered how screen sharing connects?

Would be a uber-feature!

Cheers

The VNC extensions that the Mac VNC server employs are proprietary and not available even to developers (believe me, I've talked to Apple about it). So, you are right, if another app is doing this, they reverse engineered the protocol. I might end up doing it as well. But not until after 1.9 is out.

I've looked around too and have been unable to find any information.

If I get some time I may do a little reversing myself and see how exactly they do it, I'll pass any findings I make to you.

Thanks for the response.

Sure, I'd be happy to integrate your findings. Good luck!
