Drag Mode Two-Finger "Panning"

When I'm zoomed in on my display and have drag mode enabled, there's no quick and easy way to pan to another part of my display. I have to disable drag mode, then pan to where I need to go, then re-enable drag mode.

A preference for selecting either mouse scroll (current) or view panning (desired) if a two-finger gesture is used would be great.

Good ideas, you can also use double-tap-and-hold to drag, this way you're not stuck in drag mode.
