Shutdown & Restart Launch Buttons

I noticed someone has asked for "launch buttons", basically quick launch shortcuts for common tasks. If you are considering such a feature in future releases, please also consider including "Shutdown & Restart" buttons ... it would make things a bit easier from and iPhone. Thanks.

The problem with this feature is that it's not a standard VNC function; so I would need to write a special service to run on the machine to perform these functions.
If someone has any ideas on how to best implement this, feel free to comment.
