OK. seems it was the connectivity test that was causing the sleep issues after all.
I'll release 0.9.7 later today. It re-enables the things I disabled in 0.9.6, and makes the connectivity test user initiated (there's a button).

OK. 0.9.7 is here for testing. If I don't hear of any problems, I'll push out to everybody tomorrow.

Connection Test is now not automatic unless selected to be in the Advanced pane.
