Hi,
i like the original terminal from osx. There is an option to split the window. Why not use the original termin from osx?

The terminal system in Remoter is really integrated into the app, and allows for port forwarding which is not only user defined, but also used for VNC and RDP over SSH sessions.
But I do like your suggestion, I will add your request to trac.
