Cannot input # key from Keyboard

I can't seen to input the # key into SSH connections i've got setup. Have tried US and Direct keyboard input but cannot seem to get the # character to input to the connection. Kind of annoying as most of our system passwords uses the # key several times...

Have downloaded the recent Beta to see if it was fixed then.. Doesn't seem to be unless there is a way to use hash im not aware of ?
Usually on Mac is alt + 3 or windows Alt + \ but i've tried many combinations to on SSH connections to try get the Hash key now... :?

What keyboard language are you using? In the standard US Keyboard, the "#" character is generated by pressing Shift+3

Thanks!,
Raf.

Thanks Raf,

I was using British Language keyboard on my Mac as i'm from UK but i've added the US language to my keyboard and am able to switch to US when i need the hash key using Shift + 3 just as you said.

Theres no workaround using British Keyboard at the moment no ? Usually British Keyboard is Alt + 3 thats all :)

This is now working excellently now thanks so much! Also working well with Shift + \ key = # in a Windows RDP session.
Liking it very much!

Thanks so much for your speedy response! :D :D :D
