Hello Raf!

Thanks for the new beta. I'm still experiencing the mentioned display bugs with 8bpp and 16bpp color depth on my MacBook Air 13" 2011. You can find the correlating tickets here:

Max,
Are you still getting these issues, even with Mountain Lion?
Could you get Remoter's log file for when this happens? I'd like to see if the legacy renderer is being used. (It's under ~/Library/Application Support/Remoter/.log)
Thanks!,
Raf.

Uhm, I guess you're referring to me, Alex. Right?

This is definitely a legacy renderer problem and I always experienced it with Mountain Lion as you can see in the tickets. As for the "manual screenshot crashes" and the "closing fullscreen mode when user switching" I couldn't reproduce the problem right now - it might be fixed. But the "cropped screen" still exists and bugs me a lot. It won't happen for 32bpp, but for 16bpp and 8bpp it definitely does. What's interesting is that if I use your "manual screenshot" function when only seeing portions of the screen (cropped screen) the resulting screenshot shows the full screen, not only the cropped part. As a result of the cropped screen the mouse cursor issue is still existing.

Summarizing I have to confess that only one of the three tickets is still relevant:

Sorry for the misleading first post!

I recorded another video of the above issues, please check your mail :)

Thanks for your help,

Alex

Yes, you Alex. I was talking to a Max before and got mixed up. Sorry!!
Gonna check my mail now; thanks!

BTW, the legacy renderer is not needed in ML, so my auto detection code is not working, I guess.

For other people following the conversation: Alex and I got this issue corrected, and beta 1.3.7C is out.
