Using Kex Shortcuts

With the iOS Client controlling the ACTS Terminal Server with key shortcuts (e.g. cmd-C etc) works, but not with the MacOS client.

Do I have overlooked something in the set up?

Hi Tiburon,

Can you please tell me how to recreate the problem? I'm not sure I follow.

Thanks,
Raf.

I try to control the host computer with key shortcuts, like cmd-c to copy something. With the iOS client this works. With the client application on MacOS X these shortcuts do not work.

Hi Tiburon,

If you're using RDP to connect to a Windows machine, then please use Control+C, Control+V, etc. As this is what the server (windows machine) expects.

The command key is currently mapped to "Alt", and will be configurable in the next version.

Thanks!,
Raf.

Hi Raf

We are using a ACTS (Aqua terminal server) which is not a windows but a Mac OS terminal server. With remoter
Vnc for iOS the shortcuts (with the Win-key) work perfectly but not on the Mac App

A-ha,
Now I understand.
Yes, this is probably caused by the lack of Command key support. I'll be adding this shortly, I'll post here as soon as a beta with this support is available so you can check it out and tell me if it resolves your problem.

Thanks!,
Raf.
