Hello,
Accentuated or special characters don't translate when typing through remote VNC. I'm connecting to a Mac running Lion. Keyboard mapping is French Canadian on both the iMac and the iPad.
I've tried the tweak mentionned in the topic by marcus http://rafsoftware.com/rafsoftware/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=585. It doesn't help.

That tip only applies to RDP sessions, for VNC you need to select a keyboard mapping in Remoter Config (Preferences...) It's the first setting under Keyboard (Mode), you will need to change from Direct to the appropriate one.
