Hi Raf,

I am also seeing frequent crashes with Remoter for Mac. I have a MacBook Pro running Lion. I have a VNC over SSH session and an RDP session that I always keep open. Periodically, RoM will crash, and I have to restart it and reconnect to both. I have attached the OSX crash file. If it is not the same issue, I can open a new thread.

I believe I've found the problem that was causing all of the remaining crashes. I'm preparing release 1.0.1 that includes this fix among other enhancements. I'm almost ready to send it to apple.

I'll post a new beta as soon as I do.

PS: If you're interested to know: I found a problem in a 3rd party library I use for base64 encoding, where the incorrect amount of memory was allocated for the base64 buffer, this was causing the buffer from overwriting random areas in the application, causing the crashes.'

PS2: I also see you're not using the latest beta. The crash you experienced has since been fixed in an earlier beta.

I have upgraded to the latest beta, and I am still seeing crashes. Sometimes it will crash and generate a dump file, other times it will just hang with the spinning ball, and I have to force quit it and re-open.

Yes, I haven't posted a new beta with the fix I mentioned in my last post.
The crash you're experiencing now is hopefully fixed now. I'll post a new beta soon.
