Remoter.app crashing on start-up

Ever since the most recent application update on Nov. 7, 2015 Remoter.app will no longer run on my MacBook Pro (10.8.5). I see no indication that my version of OS X is no longer supported so what is happening?

I have deleted the application from my computer and re-installed it from the App Store but still no luck starting and running Remoter.app. I really need to get this working ASAP so I can remotely support my clients from my laptop. Help!

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I cannot do that as the application will not start but simply crashes while it is loading.

Actually Remoter for Mac has a minimum requirement of OS X 10.9 now. I'm surprised the App Store is not up-to-date on this, since this is not a developer editable field, it's automatically retrieved from the application.

Is there a reason you're still on 10.8?

OK,
I was able to get the upcoming version 1.8.03 compiled to work on 10.6 (still requires a 64bit machine).
Please give this version a shot, and let me know how it works.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't updated for a few reasons mostly related to my work (I am an IT consultant). I may need to re-look at the option of upgrading my MacBook Pro to the latest version. In the meantime, however, is there a previous version of Remoter.app that I can install so that I can continue to support my clients remotely?

Raf,

The older version is indeed running now on my laptop, thank you. There is a problem however in that all of my saved sessions are gone which is a bit of a deal as I have 30+ saved items for various systems and servers that I support. It would be a bit of a pain to re-add each of them again. Is there any way for me to import my sessions or otherwise recover them?
