re-show menu bar icon?

This seems like it should be a simple problem, but I'm stumped. The Remoter client for Mac is only accessible via the menu bar, and there's an option to hide the icon. Foolishly I hid the icon, and now I cannot find a way into the program to access settings. How do I re-show the icon? Thanks. -J

Thanks for the reply. To clarify, it's not the entire menu bar that's hidden, just the RemoterFusion icon on the menu bar. And as far as I know, RemoterFusion never appears in the dock.

I submitted this same query to support@remoterlabs.com. Would you suggest I contact the developer directly?

Again, thanks for taking the time to respond. -J

After a few days, the developer got back to me (the email is support at remoterlabs dot com). Here's the fix:

1. If the program is running: open Activity Monitor, find RemoterLabs, and quit/force quit.
2. Open terminal, type the following (without quotes), and hit enter: "defaults write com.remoterlabs.remoterfusion displayIcon 1"
3. Launch RemoterLabs again, and it should appear in the menu bar.
