Window size on Retina MBP

I'm looking for a way for my windowed RDP sessions to start in a zoomed mode without having to use the "Zoom" menu option each time. The default on my retina MBP seems to be 1:1 scaling, which is tiny. I'm not interested in running in full screen mode.

Am I missing a setting for this?

Thanks

I came to the forum hoping to find an answer for this too. Just upgraded my non retina mbp to retina and my old sessions are unreadable without scaling.

My current workaround is to set the size of my sessions to something small (1280x1024) then when it opens, resize the window manually (since I also don't like full screen mode over windowed mode), and that does scale the window to a viewable size for me.

Hope that helps someone else, and I also would love to see a default scaling option applied to the per host settings.

There is a option to restore the settings in the session editor, this should restore the zoom mode too. You'd need to set this option for every session as this is disabled by default.
